ive lost track of time........
these are the days of my life. anyway so i cant remember if it was this week or last week that my mama sent me a parcel but anyway the point is i got the damn thing. not for a lack of tryring. 5hrs in customs. it says it all. and this while i was very tired from partying the night before and not being able to sleep for about 23hrs and functioning on about three hours of sleep from the night before. omg i love my life. ahahahah but i need rest.
ripped open the package an yes there was some tea and other goodies from home and all of the really essential clothing that i had to leave at home. hahah like red jeans and dungarees. whooooop i love it. but then i had to catch a train home and i mostly ate all of the candy hahahahah and some other stuff. whooop its good. but remind me never to do that again. hahah next time just have it fedexed to my dooor.
but hte night before partying was interesting we went to hooker hill the hyatt and some other random spots and danced to kpop and met some really interesting people who just hump glass doors for fun. hahahah i love seoul. remind me to hang out there more. but in hungdae where the fashon the the people are hot hot hot.
and hopefully i ll find the nappeum namja im looking for.

this week needs to fly by
ok so this week better fly by 24th -30 cos im tired and i wnat to rest and my mommy is sending me a package at ethe end of the week and i have to go and get it in seoul. yes for having my red jeans and overalls back.
but before then i have an inspection and it freeks me out. hahah luckily im cooking this week and i can wow them with chocolate and marshmallows.
hmmm i sleep. eat and im just at home not doing anything. hmmm this is the good life!!

leaving busaaan
The rain has not let up. i want some sun. we wake up at 11am and we need to be out in like no time.
quick time to remove the freeky prince like make up and then go to the jjimjilbang for a shower and pamper sesh. i need to sweat out all of the toxins ive been pumping myself with. I love it.
4floors of nothing but naked ness. hahah we find some rooms and sweat and i feel great. my hair is soo long i need a cut. but hmmmm im gonna rock it curly tomorrow not time do do the do.

late to bed, early to rise
so it was like 3hrs of sleep adn then we were like lets just chill adn party. its weird. we have another day here and its cool. so we are gonna washup and then hit the town. but then theres a call. its 12pm and its like oh its a wake up call. cool.
its raining outside. pooop. i want to sit on the beach and chill. but alas. what to do. hmmmm time for shopping. one of our friends is really ill. too much sojuice and is puking alot. hahahahahaha soo funny. so she goes to bed and then oki and i hit the town. its wet. not cold but just really tropicalll and wet. we head downtown to the underground shopping and then go for some icecream. look at some hotties and then head back. poop.
but before allof this happens as we were leaving to go shopping the owners of the hotel were like you need to leave. whaaaaaaaaaat. ' you need to leave. why hahah. apparently we only paid for one night. whaaaaaaat. hahah there are only two of us left from our group as everyone else have gone out. sooo what the hell. theyr gonna throw our stuff out on the street. soo we have to rebook and spend some more money. ahahah coool . drammaaaa.
we head back have some food and then we go out dancing!! we are hitting up the university area tonight.
more drama we miss the last train an dso we grab a taxi and off we go. good thing too cos we get to cross the really cool bridge. feels like a movie. meet some people at a bar. its the south african gals and well they are donning some crazy purple wigs. hahah margeritas ordered and peepered with enough soju to knock a grown man out.
waht is this. hotties an then we party - free entry to a club around the corner. its foxy. its techno electro heaven. hahaha i have an umbrella stuffed down my pants. hahahah classic. dance at foxy and then i pull some hotties. apparently. i was to busy dancing and shaking my bootay!!
then over to Ghetto - oooooh lallaaa alalal . its raing outside and people want to be indoors and get hot. some random people give me drinks and im like whattt . its 4am and dancing like a demon. meet some more hotties hahahah. but im too 'dancey and sweaty to wanna start something. eep. i should have. dammint.
then i go outside and i meet someone who is like 'um you look like somethign out of a prince music video'; hahaha. he is my new instant Busan bff. hahaha so we party.
its xtina and me and we are hitting the town. - fun times. now its 530am an dwe are waiting for the subway to open so we can go home and chill. hahaha.
we hit the subway and make it home. soo much fun. its raining like a mother. the sun is coming up and people are sleeping on the beach in the rain. rookie mistake. hahaha.
time for bed its 630am on a sunday. and we are wet. hmmmmm

beach babes and bikinis
time for the beach its already 6pm and we figure go to the beach check it out. its hot and its gonna be like this the whole weekend. soo we load up on the vitamin juice and off we goo. Hyundai beach you better watchout. its jsut about eh most famous beach in korea. and well i really dont understand why. its tiny and there are no waves but the water is cool and at least i can say i now have beenin the yellow sea. yes.
we chill and on the way we picked up another stray person. she was lost and well looking for a place to stay. eep i hope she doenst kill us. then we chill on teh beach and then i get a call from some south africans we meet in seoul the previous time i was there. and yay the are also at teh beach. so we head over to see them and chill.
more sojuice and chatting. then night decends adn soo does the party atmos. we need to go get changed. but not before we corrupt some 16yr olds. we didnt know. until they freeked out when the cops arrived. eheheh nothing bad . hahdh good thing i was in the toilet that time.
we head back to the hotel and then get changed. hot. we are looking hot. meeting the girls down at the beach in a bit and its goona be good. we head to a crazy bar but its not pumping so we go to the novotel. it has a club downstairs. hot. we dance and there is a stuffed kitty runnign around. fun times. dance dance and then drama.
as we are about to leave to see another place we have lost one of our friends. and we search hi and low for her. thing is she has the key to the locker with some poeples stuff and we cant break it open. rightio where is she. we run outside into a lovers tiff one i will remember for the rest of my life. oh my men dating - melodramtic. heheheeh
then i go back into the club and find the poor gal passed out in a booth. hahah the day is saved.
we get our stuff and then make a move to another club. eeep its alread 3am. this party aint stopping till the sun comes up. and it doesnt. we chill dance and get free drinks. some get drinks poured on them and licked of their legs - christina. hehheehehhe and then its time to venture home.
we go along the beach and its nothing but skank everywhere. eeew. soo glad we got a hotel.
time for bed. the sun is coming up and the party begins in another 3hrs. szzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Busan and beyond~
wow life does happen. hahaha but thats how it goes.
im thinking janet jackson right now = like a moth to the flame.
anyway so it was buddahs bday and we went away with some friends. yes goodtimes. beach sun sand.
so we head off early in the am and catch a 3hr bus. whoop. get to busan. needless tosay we were napping on the bus adn then also watching some strange televisonl .
busan looks awesome. a tad small but anywho. so we are booked into a hotel and we are gonna try and get 7 people into it. hmm i know. its holiday weekend and its gonna be packed down here. everyone has this weekend off and they want to party. so we are in two minds. then we meet someone at the station adn she reckons that we can get get a much nicer place for cheaper. ok so we follow here.
thing is she cant exactly remember where it is. so we roam around for a while looking and its hot hot hot and i want to be on the beach beach beach. our friend sonia has missed her bus in gwangju and is on the way. hahah shell be here in three hours. omg.
so we split up and try and find a place to stay. its wierd. its like being stranded and we are now looking for a place. whats the best deal. we go there and there and then we are like wtf what is going on. they are gonna charge us like 160 000 won per night. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. eep even between six its a bit much.
anyway on we go. and then they find the mysterios magic hotel. - Named magic of course and we are set. its really nice. and there is enough room for everyone including a dog. which of course there is and then we get changed and get ready to hit the beach. but then sonia arrives and we give her direcitons. we meet here at the subway and then go for dinner. sojuuuuuuuu for everyone. its gonna be that kind of weekend. hehehe the food is good. but i have to say im not liking the fact that there are that many skanky people around. have some class. hehehehe.

work week.
so i rock up to work on tuesday and well i can go home early. cool.
wednesday is half day and then i have thursday off as a training day. hang out with friends and get ready to go to BUSAAAAAAAAN baby.
busan is a city much like cape town or Rio- on the beach and filled with hotties who like to dance take it easy and eat eat eat and parrrrrrrty. so im well excited. so we go home and pack. leaving mighty early tomorrow and we are going to have some fun. yet i sense a cloud of drama that might have a sprinkling too. hahaha but good drama.
its been cool so far. i like learning new things and hanging out with people - and i cant wait to give budda a good birthday party.
should i pack my kitty ears????? or should i adopt a new animalesque personality? hehehe time will tell.

so i wake up at like ridic o clock and now i cant sleep. so i decide to catch up on my soaps. so the final soap that i didnt tell you about was Oh MY lady.
so this older lady right is working as a house keeper. her scaly husband cheated on her and she kicks him to the curb. no she is struggling to make money and take care of her kid. so she takes a job cleaning. then she turns up to this guys house and he is like tht biggest hottest actor around. she hates him. makes fun of him and then she finds out its him. but she dont care. thats like totally me.
he mistreats her and she kooks and cleans and etc. anyway down the line he falls for her. she finds a good job nad well its soo beautiful and romantic and it stars Siwon from Shuper Junior. im a fan of the soaps having hot stars from the pop world in them. hhahahaha candeeeeeeeeeeeee for the eyes. aye aye.
anywho so then he falls for this other girl. but his previousl girlfriend got preggers by him and dumps his 5yr old kid on his door step. if the public finds out hell be ruined. so he passes the kid off as his housecleaners and well he dont want the kid so he ignores it. to make things worse shes mute and well drama.
anyway he falls in love with the lady and then she rejects him and he cant take it and then he does the most awefully romantique things and well they fall in love and get married.

suprise you need to be in school mr where are you
so im awoken by my phone going off. oh no who is it. its my coteacher saying that i need to be in school. eep what i had today off. and im in seoul. about 4hrs away from there. yikes. ok no jacuzzie and im up and i run out the door. take the subway then i get a call saying um no sorry mistake you dont need to be. whaaaaaaaaaaat.
crazy right. well at least im up and i can go shopping. then meet with sonia and we trek around town. we go to the biggest electronics place in seoul. woowowowwoe. we have some coffee outside and stalk hotties but not before some drama.
we stash our baggage in the lockers at the subway station. remember this.
then we go and shop. its soo cool. i want to live here. but you need to bargain and if you are a foreigner they automatically just up the price. but i managed to get a brand new electric razor reduced from like 200 000won to 80 000 woweeeee. i likeee too bad i really didnt need one. poor guy.
then we need to head back and well then we have some drama with our baggage we have no clue how to get it returned. hahaha so we wait. press some buttons and then we go get the station manager. hahahahaha. he helps us and then its a KTX back home. nice.
once reach gwangju - it starts raining. yay. im in shorts and a tshirt. but its summer rain and well its semi romantic. hahaha. i get home and i crash.
after eating some kimbab. soooo goood. love this stuff. i swear im getting addicted to seawead. hmmmmm crunchy tast goodness. i love it.

post party ho hum
so its a sunny sunday in seoul. yay a new tounge twister. so we decide to sleep in and then hit the town.
we going to see the lotus lantern festival tonight well i am. okai has school in the am. so we head to meet a friend of ours and we walk around. wow what a cool time. lanterns everywhere and celebrations for buddas birthday. we walk roam and do some fun stuff. then watch some really cool kids - dance. now i know where girls generation get it. they start early here. these kids cant be more than like 6 and yet they have more control over their movements than i had at like 15. i want to dance like them.
heheh im still hanging so i dont feel like doing much. then we eat some food. its point and hope for the best today - hahah. i love it. i get bibimbab. rice with veg - its really tasty and light.

so we get to back to the hotel and get changeeeed. well take a nap first and then talk to one of the guys who is there and we tell him to come out with us. hes a bit timid and all and then well he decides ok. so im like yeah.

anywho's so we get ready to hit the club. we know its down this way and we just have to walk or take a cab. so we walk for a bit to check out the locals. hot. i have to say. then we pass some girls doing their makeup in starbucks. i swear theyve been there all freekn night. hahaha getting ready to go out at 3am. hot.
so we walk. then we are like this is taking too long lets hop in a cab. so we do. give the driver the directions and what do you know hes like its righ over there. its across the road. hmmm we feel a bit dumb. the map looks easy enough. yeah right. so we walk. hmm no club. walk some more. hmmm i want to party. anywho so we find some locals ask them. they have no idea.
then we stumble across this club in the basement somewhere and well there is like 5 people in total. helll no. lets goo.
so we mowzie on back and well we start screaming at each other in the streeet. fun screaming not crazy people screaming. hahaha we bump into some hotties and low and behold they too are going to MAnsion! whooop.
soooooooooooo - we go together. we rock up and its cooking .hot hot hot.
and we are the only non locals in there. i like these odds. we dance . drink and partay. then i accidentally make okai crash into a hottie and boom bang. we have new friends. we dance we play- they wear my ears. hahahaha
nice one. good night yall. and i want to goo back. but its like 6am and we leave. KFC baby.
we walk in and everyone is passed out at the tables . has lady gaga been making the chicken sandwiches. omg. anyway turns out its a 24kfc and well since its right at the subway stop peeps are waiting for the subway to open while passed out in a Zinger meal. hehehe. once again we meet some hot locals who offer us some 'fried potatoes' hehehehe then we head home and sleep dreaming of tomorrow. well today. the suns alread up.
and im rocking some hot fingernails - and the cabbie said it was beautiful . love love love.

Animal party - prelude.
Well well well, who knew i could fall for a city like this. one more time.
well as mentioned previously im in love with the fashion and im not kidding when i say that most people looked like they just walked out of the editorial section of a fashion magazine. anywho. on to me and my fun night
so the day was spent recovering fromthe night before. then we hit up a jjimjilbang. which was at the bottom a wedding hall. so we got to see some brides in all their non glory. seriously these girls looked soo unhappy to get married. haha but that might have just been nerves.
so we get to the jimmi jangle we go in and well im now nearly comfortable gettin nekid cos there is noone around me that i know so im like be brave be brave. hahah go for a shower but im not so comfortable getting into to the scalding bathes yet!
then i have a massage and go see okai - but shes gone missing. so we loose each other for 2hrs in there and the finally i get her on the phone and shes gonna meet me at our fave spot kfc!
we meet up and go shopping. H&M is the only thing on my mind. yesssss! and then i find a uniqlo too.
funny thing is that H&M is cool but not really what im looking for. i do get a baning pair of espidrills to wear for school and check out some of the hottest colours to hit the stores in an while.

then we mission back but not before i do my makup instore and see some guy wearing my exact outfit from the previous day. love! love love.

Seoul times
so what an amazing weekend filled with adventure and the unknown.
yippee i for def need to say yes to more things and see where it goes. meeting new people and seeing new things.
mostly new people adn seeing their things. hahahahaah
friday was a busy busy day. school finished and i rushed out to get changed to go to the station.
catching a three hour bus to seoul with okailey. hmmmmm.
i pass out on the bus just cos i need some nap time and to feel refreshed for the nights activities and well i wake up and i really need to peee. we are about half and hour away from seoul and im ready to burst!
hahah - i have the bladder of a 10yr old. hehehehe.
anywho we get to seoul adn then its crazy subway stylings. its crazier than manhattan and london combined. and its in hangul too so its uber confusing. but im liking that im distracted by hotties. hahaha
get to the hotel and check in adn we meet some people just chilling in reception. its all good. then its time to go out. we drop our stuff and hit the town.
ooops the banks are closed and well we try the 7 eleven and i get some cash. sorted first a bite at kfc and then we are going out. so we meander down the roads looking at the really hot and really fashionable people. i swear this place has another thing on london and new york. the fashion is leaps and bounds ahead. i have to say i love. it. people experient and just get creative. no holds barred. very 365days of fashon.
we go for a drink and then meet one of the people from the hotel. we end up in a really crazy hole in the wall and order some peach rice wine. yummy. it comes with two fried eggs and silkworm lavae. in a light broth.
hmmm tastes like pecan nuts. adn it coats your throat with a crazy grittyness. must be to get you to drink more iu say. and before you know it it is 3am and we retire. tomorrow is gonna be crazy.

Personal Preference
o the second of my favourites is called Personal preference. and its soo funny sooo interesting.
Well the main draw to this show is not only Lee Minho one of koreas hot young thangs but the fact that this story chooses to deal with/exploit highlight homosexuality in korea.
Quick Fyi - Gay doesnt 'exist' in Korea this is what ive heard from some of my korean friends and well its quite the taboo here. but not in a bad way its just like it never existed. im not too sure why or how or the other semantics of it but ive heard of some people being shunned and getting fired fromjobs or ending their careers cos they came out.
Anywho so this show is all about this guy and architect who needs to get his next project of the ground. by a crazy twist of fate he meets or rather gropes this hot mess of a girl (a furniture designer)and well they fight and stuff. The the hot mess of a girl is seeing htis guy and well he is seeing her best friend. but they havent told her. and well as it goes her bestie and the guy she likes are getting married. and she doesnt know.
also the architect and the groom to be are arch rivals. eeep. anyway so in a twist of fate, yet again the hot mess of a girl finds out at their wedding that shes not the bride and that the love of her life is marrying her best friend and housemate. eeeeeeeeeeeeep! so she kicks her bff out on the curb and then she needs money cos her business partner stole money. so she looks for a lodger and low and behold our young handsome hero comes along and takes up the spot. (only cos he needs to steal some ideas from the house she lives in cos its famous for its architecture)
but she is under the illusion that this guy is "gay' or "Gay-a' in korean. hahaha and so she lets him move in cos she cant deal with Real men right now.
so they have shenanigans hes a neat freek and she well leaves her panties all over the house. Anywho the become besties and then they fall in love. he isnt really gay but pretends to be cos she kinda outed him to his boss and some other people and now his boss who is really gay, has a crush on him. oooooooh the drama! hahah
anywho in recent episodes they have now kissed and fallen in love. but i cant wait for more drama to ensue. its really good and im learning so much about the culture from these shows.

Cinderellas sister
so in a previous life ive always thought of myself as being cinderellas sister. hahaha (not the evil ones) hahah but ive really become addicted to the soaps that are on tv. i just stumbled across it one day and well ive now added three to my list. its crazy.
well the dramatic on is cinderellas sister. basically its really emo and its all about love and how these two people are in love but they just cant admit it to themselves and then also express it physically. As in a hug or a kiss. its sooo tragically romatique. just like my life and most of my liasions hahaha its weird. but the acting is soo good and i mostly end up crying through most of the episode.
im literally arranging my schedule around these soaps and well even though i see the latest episode i really dont understand the language but the visuals are so powerful im just like whoooooooaaa! so i know what is going on.

Korean soap operas are the freekn bomb baby
this is my new religion! i have to tell you.
the soaps her are soo good and even though in the beginning i coudnt understand a word - until i found them online!

2am, kpop drinking and cake fights. yess
what happens when you combine nightime, light shows and really cool korean pop!
jarrod acts like a teenager again. yayayayayayayayaayya.
but first a bbq dinner of fish - adn other stuff. and the nice lady helps us cook it adn eat it. hmm wrapping out food and basically feeding us. they are soo nice here - or think we are incredibly stupid or lazy. i dont mind i just wanna chew!
the light expo is cool ive wanted to go and no i have the chance, its night so the lights are really cool adn there are loads of families around. cute kid allert. not amber but Scarlet! highest level.
we walk around looking at some exhibits and then we are ready for some 2am - they are a kpop band with four members and they are amazing. they only sing ballads. (as oppossed to 2pm - 8members adn they only sing pop ditty;s)
funnnnnn - im freeking out and singing along to the tunes in korean like no other. okai and i go mad and the other families around us are like who are these wierdos.
cant wait for GGeration.
we head off to meet some friends for some predrinking and then party. we end up at a cool western bar - appollo and hang out singing lines from our favourite kpop bands. im introduced to Ukiss - bingeul bingeul teh anthem of my life. check an earlier posting for its amazing ness!! There was also some cake smearage as we crashed another bday party and well then i went home.

so as always as is with my life things are always a bit harder than it should be.
soniaface okai and i decide to go iceskating - now these two ladies had managed to get themselves some cool ass phones by this time but i wet to the ell store and they were like gonna charge me waaaay too much to get this thing going so i was like well i kinda like not having a new phone or any phone for a while so i decided to go awol for a bit.
anywho i live about 20min from the rink and i decide to walk there thinking i can always take a bus. hmmm confusion. no bus seems to go in that direction and well im late and i rush so i hope into a taxi. sidenote: ive never felt so pampered riding in taxi cabs all day. hahaha but they are soo cheap and affordable.
right make it to the site. and im like wtf. its at the world cup stadium and there is a lotte outlest - a reallllllly big ass mall and im like i want a donut. Dunkin donuts.
i wait and wait then decide its time for a latte, find a coffee store and ask the really nice man who speaks english to direct me adn he is super helpful an the coffee is great. non of this in a sachet stuff. real beans which real african kids worked to pick. hmmm the taste of home.
i find my way to the rink and well these two are not there. and there are no payphones or so i think. i head inside to see if theyr there. and im like shit. im just gonna wait. loads of cute kids. you dont even understand how cute korean kids are. i aint seen any ugly ones yet!!!! thery all like helloooooo! nice to meet you.
right its an hour and well i could still be in bed pondering stuff - like cake and clouds and staring out of windows. hahaha. but i go back in to ask for help and low and behold there is a payphone right there. wierd. i call em and then they arrive.
whoop skating. its cool. colder than cool actually and im glad i layerd up. so anywho we rock and roll and im glad i havent lost my skating mojooooooooooooooooooo!
also better news is that 2am and Girlsgeneration are playing at the light festival annnnnd im goooing.

iron man - tastes like coconut?
so i want a chilled weekend. not a rowdy lowd one like the ones ive become used to in my 1month of being here.
well i swear it feels like longer. but a good longer. hehe.
so we head downtown. a friend meets me outside my apartment an we walk to the subway. its cool knowing people here that are also in the same situation. it makes life soo much easier. we meet my friend joe who i swear is mattloaf hehehe and we head to lemon tree to eat some 'real' beef burgers. hmm yummy.
then a quick taxi off to USquare and imax iron man.
im less than impressed with the movie but i like it. its predictable adn well the effects are cool. appart from him inventing a new 'element' hmmm in his basement. loads of sexual inuendo which im a huge fan of!
then we meet up with the rest of the crew adn have a nice drinky at soul train downtown. its more chilled and well we have a chance to talk and not scream in a load place. civilised.
then i head home. ive got nothing plaaned tomorrow really besides iceskating and dinner with some friends. i havent been skating in years. is it like riding a bike? we'll find out soon

so maxing out your credit cards aint fun. and thats waht i did. so i needed to make a transfer home.
i have to tell you walking inot a bank and requesting to withdraw 1million is amazing. i felt so empowered and well now that i have it i fear loosing it. grrr. ive got to keep it under lock and key. well for about another 30min untill i wire it home. booo. damn you credit card. hmmmmmm you served me well.
it was a sad moment but also a cool realisation that well im growning up and i need to be responsible. grrrrrrr - damn you catch 22. hahaha but once its gone im like ok then.

stuff since last sunday hmmm lets think
so when last i blogged i had just returned from mount mudueng. wow and well i didnt hurt at all. i have to say. monday was a breeze adn i was climbing those stairs at school like nobody's business.
well it was going to be a relatively easy week cos my students were gonna sit mid terms and well they are super stressed adn well i wanted to make it as easy as possible for them. so we just had some fun. well as much fun as you can have. hehehe.
but all went well.
i did however need a to take some naps when i got home. Gosh darn it. im tired.
tuesday was the same same did nothing much but napped when i arrived home. except im not addicted to Kimbap rolls that you get at the local corner store its really cheap like 1000w which is about 1dollar or less. its like sushi but you eat it on the go. delish. loving it. it will be making up the most of my meals this week. yummeeeeeee.

OM F-ING GEEEEEEE!!
La Mountainia - Mnt Mudeung-San
Right i love hiking. love it. and i finally got to do some. we are in the south of korea and it is surrounded by mountains. so we go to the mountain.
crazy hiking day, its harder than i thought. and apparently the little kids can do it better than me. they are speeding by and im like the big bad woolf. - huffing and puffing. jeeeeez. hhaaahaha.
but we make it. its a cool day out. i have to say. the suns out and i get to flex my leg muscles. also im wearing a loverly nice spandex suit. haha. hot. im trending leggings for me is gonna be huge. trust meeeee! trust me.
im alll about trending. trending. so check back for my updates on what i think is gonna be huge this year. i got a feeling. love it.
trying not to sprain my knee again. so im taking it easy. damn you Machu Picchu. oh funtimes.
then home. ate some kimbap and then passed out face down in my pillows.

Shopping Saturday/ bake sale/ river/ feather store/ food/ and so much more
Well its gonna be a busy saturday. haha well late night last night but i have to wake up early cos i have soo much to do. its insane. mostly shop.
i decide to go downtown early so i can get some me time in the shops. first do a round of checking out prices to make sure that the base is good. instead of purchasing something in one store and then walking into a store next dooor and finding the exact same thing for half the price (ee) most things that end in (e) here you just elongate and then people understand. Orange becomes Orange-eee. seriously (ee) hehe lying about that one.
so im stumbling along and then make my way to Uniqlo. you dont even understand its been sooo long since ive held a wanting hand --- where is that from. haha. anywho theres nothing like the smell of that first entry with the intention to buy.
like a new car smell. they should bottle it so i can carry it around with me all of the time. essence of new clothing. love it. so i hit up the top two floors and like a kid in a cupcake store im all over that shizzle and my adahd (izzle) aint helping. the colours are popping and locking and im like oooh , aaah, yummy noises.
anywho got some black skinnies and a cool ass jumper. hot. cant wait to rock it out.
then just moving around town checking it out. found a bake sale. loads of yummy western cakes. apple cinnamon muffins. very tasteee and delicious. and i meet some friends.
found my way to the river. it was nice, the sun was out and i had a cool time tanning. much to the amusement of the locals. cos um tanning is a bit not dejour here haha. they just stared whilst i got my skin out. not too much just arms and legs. haha . soo good. vitamin d me up.
chilled and then a crazy tshirt store. that i now love. hotness. and then dinner and drinks with the Aprilepics and some more kareoke - i think my new fave is CHER. (do you beliiiiiieve in life after love)

what to do with Wina Manje Millions
So today is payday and i cant wait. the anticipation is mounting and well im totally ready for this. the credit card is just about maxed out and now i just want to roll in the cash. seriously im going to get a few hundred thousands out and then change em into singles and then roll in em. throw it up in the air and rooooool with it baby.
but alas i have to wait for 430pm and then chaching. its working.
i go to the bank check my balance and not only am i a millionaire, but im a multi millionare. nice!
i draw a few thou and im out. tonight is gonna be party tastic. shots shots shots shots shots shots. everybodayy. well maybe not. im very tired and i should be concentrating on my beauty sleep.
haha - but i go out anyway. first dinner with the kids - we meet up with some Seoul locals and have a bacon dIY dinner. its amazing. then off to the german bar with friends and then we sing some crazy kareoke. We hit up bubble bar. hmm not happening and then soul train. its cool i like it ive never been before but im liking it. its chilled and the atmos is less smokey than usual.
so its time to sleep cos tomorrow im gonna be burning the moola like rubber baby. first stop will be uniqlo for some much needed retail therapy. i havent bought any clothing in like a month. that is harsh. seeing i usually try and aquire an item of clothing per day in my regular life. but for now im dreamin of rubbing myself all up in uniqlos business tomorrow.

so the downtown den of naughtyness has been discoverd. with crazy cocktails and a shisha pipe. hmmm cherry tabaccy. nice. its cool to just chill with some peeps and not be rushing around doing loads of crazy things. im all about the slow and steady.

Wednesdaisy with a Hooka pt 1
So one of my teaching pals is supposed to graduate today and we decide to have a quick dinner for her.
Wowee what a night this would turn out to be.
Well we went out for dinner, to the same place as saturday and i know better than to order the realllly spicey meal thing that will basically melt your face off. Seriously i think i removed like 5 layers from my tounge! oucheee and also my intestinal tract. But thats good - it burnt away all of the crazy animals thats been hiding in there for sooo long. bye bye mr tape worm. hahha
anywho over dinner we get to talking and mr john informs me of a sisha pipe place that hes heard of but not managed to locate. a nice shisha would be awesome right now. so we are going to get dessert at the moulin rouge as well.
but before this i gave Xtina - the mono - to the Mono_chop - allow me to explain this in a later post. hehe.
so i gave her a quick tutorial on how to get from her housee to the subway. cutting about 40min from her dubiousl 50min bus ride downtown. eeeeep.
anywho so we end up at moulin and then right across the alley is the Ethnic cafe. Home to the sisha. yay score.

Well since my bromance is gone. Ima nap. its been a crazy weekend fo real reall and i need to recharge my batteries. So I get home and just sink into my bed. Just about managed to remove my shoes and then im out like a light.
Wake up - and wow its time for school. It hardly felt like i slept but im feeling a tad spritelier!

Whered he goooo? i want my bromance back
So the nickster left today. boooooooo. on the KTX and then on a jet plane to his Palace in the UAE.
Well at least thats what i thought.
He said hes gonna try and leave today cos the crazy EYayayayayayaya Volcano decided to spew its dirt all over Europe and now everyone is having a backlog or whatever. So he was heading to Seoul and then back West. its wierd cos i know it as the middle east but now that im in the East everthing is kinda different.
Coolio - im super tired cos wow who knew having an attache was such hard work. but fun work. hehe.
so im at school and im like well hell let me know when he gets to Seoul. 12pm nope.
1pm nope. okay. then when it hit 12am and still no word for St Nick i was like omg they kidnapped my bear and they are now holding him ransom. And i only become a millionaire in a week. hehehe.
So i wait and i wait. hmm kinda like waiting for a chicken to hatch. at some point if its taking too long you are gonna kinda go nuts and wonder if theres a chicky in the eggy. hahah
Then wonders of wondersm, Yeay, word that hes alive and not in some dungeon somewhere being whipped by a hot asian lady - asking him to talk in a harsh british voice. heehehe. although i know he'd like that. Very much indeedy. Too much indeedy id guess. hahaha. Dream on slick.
But im happy that hes ok and now i can hold off on sending out the non-existant search party. hes happy to be back in Abu and im not so happy cos i have no big spoon tonight.

ice cream in the moulin rouge
so we found this cool coffee shop. two levels and kitched out like you cant imagine.
Pink polkadotted curtains and couches, crazy lamps and chandeliers and just randomness that spells amazingness. i dont know one of my new fave spots so far.
hung out with the nickster and sonia-face and then just chilled for three hours. its been a pretty intense weekend so its cool just to chat without shouting and such. and then eating some icecream with cornflakes.
i feel like cornflakes are the go to side dish here. but im liking it. alota! hehe.
Soo then we retire and sleep. nicksters gotta pack and ive got school in the am. we recap and braid each others hair. hahaha. kidding.

uptown girl? no biaatch this shizzles going down, in DTown!
Right what do you do when you are hungover - you walk around surrounded by fishyness and then window shop. and eat fried potatoes dipped in cheese. yummay
ok so we are starving adnwe find a place to eat. Korean ok. so we get there and yes the menu has pictures. score. so then we order. mind you we had one authentic pork bone meal and we order from the pic. low and behold its the same meal as thursday night. im not complaining. i loved it. its hot its spicy and its tasty.
but we are eating and then there is this unavoidable huge screen showing pics of plastic surgery. wha wha - while im eating. are you serious. hahah such a nick thing to say but i soooo havent heard it in a while. we eat, drink and are merry. and they have free ice cream. a service that im gonna be using very well in the future.
sooooooo. we leave with icecream cones in tow and window shop some more. we find a place called 'COCKS' and well its kinda a wierd thing that we found. and take some snaps with ice creams in our mouths and then my gag reflex decides to kick in promting me to cough up im Icecream and catch it. the momentum then makes nicks icecream fall out his mouth and hit the ground. Tragic childhood memories return of a fresh cone being licked only once dropping to the ground. booooooo!!!!
anywho we decide its ok and then walk along. i dont know why but we look up and then there are people waving at us from these overly decorated booths and drinking coffee. what do we do.
lets go join them of course. we dont know them - but fuck it. hay ho lets go.

Sundays are for picking up the confused.
so fresh from waking up from an epic night, the nickster and i decided that downtown was for def where it was gonna be hat. hotties. uniqlo, fresh food, but mostly UNIQLO! and we decided to sleep in and then go out. and i persuaded nickster to stay in my den of crazy for one more day. yay!
while he mongs - i watch my new favourite soapie - 'I like you' its a bout a guy and a girl sharing a house. shes been dumped by her boyfriend who then gets married when she goes away and then she walks in on his wedding. her housemate is a hottie who pretends to be gay so he they can live together. dramaaa.
anywho its in korean so i only have the visuals and my own twisted rose coloured romantique crazy random paranoid thoughts to go with it. but its fun. im screaming at the tv and nick is laughing at me cos he thinks im crazy until he joins me and we both are enthralled by it all.
the best part is when she gets her period in the bathroom of a restauant and she calls him to go get her tampons and he does and then hes too afraid to give it to her. Now thats friendship. love.
anywho then i get soniaface online and shes gonna be at sangmu. and since i live down the road - im like yo yo. shes stranded no-one pitched. haha. she joins the nickjj gang and we are off for coffee and a bagel and then we hit downtown.

Dance dreams come true
so since discovering BigBang and Lollipop ive wanted to dance to it in a club. and yes Houzeeee which not only has top class mixing djs and looks amazing inside - played this little ditty.
not gonna lie i nearly peed myself - this is ma jammmmn - like dammmn. haha
Xtina missed out. hahah but okailey and i grooved! and so did nick. wow.
and to top it off this guy Jake taught me how to do the Bubi dance. hahaha
yay! love it. then more free tipple and then some crazy dance. getting thrown out of VIP. Nick and I mistaking our own hot relfections as hot hotties in the full length mirrors (although i would do me regardless - haha). The uncontrolable urge to do our hair - cos every other boy in the club was doing it too, and then petting this beautiful Alaskan Husky on the way out. Wow its fur was soooo soft and it had eyes to die for. Im a sucker for blue eyes. and yes im really talking a bout a dog. nick has the pics to prove it.

Uniqlo - I am saved and i basically groped the store!
This is the first time ida been downtown bar dancingness. And during the day perchance. and it is everything i dreamed of an more. Fashon Fashon everywhere. even the littlest kids. for real real. im jealous and i wish i were them, cos i wasnt nearly as cool as them at my tender age.
haha the best part came when a little old lady scold nick cos he wanted to take a pic of her dried up octopus. not a euphamism although im sure ill find a way of throwing it into a conversation at some point its too good not too. anywhos.
so ive been gutted that i had to leave 95% of my wardrobe behind at home and well now im dressing like an old maid - cos it was mainly school clothes that i had to keep in my bag as they made me unpack at the airport. damn you. i shake my fist in defiance. still!! *can you see me waving it*
But then Happiness hit me like a train on a track. Much the way florence describes it in the below music vid.

if nick hadnt been there and if i didnt have a rep to protect id be rolling around in the store making naughtly noises. it was that good. ive been out of uniqlo territory for about 6months and well my bloom was fading but now the will to live has returned.
While im perving on clothes, nick is making the most of the short shorts and high heels. hahaha. look but dont touch!
anywho we are due to meet the rest of the april crew shortly and we dash off, grabbing some awesome smoothins on the way, really fresh and its the best thing ive had all day. hangovers and my stomach dont agree. i like dry crackers and tea - thatll do me.
haha anywho we meet the others and we are off for what in retrospect was an amazing night.
